History Of PROMISS

PROMISS was founded as a 501 C-3 nonprofit in 2002. The PROMISS pregnancy care center opened nine months later in June 2003 in Ocean Springs. In October 2006, PROMISS relocated to Gautier. Tremendous growth took place after PROMISS moved to Gautier. Client services increased by 800%.  PROMISS was invited to become a United Way for Jackson and George Counties organization in April 2007. PROMISS has served over 3,000 individuals facing an unplanned pregnancy residing on the Mississippi coast since 2002. PROMISS witnesses over 100 expectant parents carry to term healthy babies each year.
